My kindle leather cover is very classy. It is also an attention getter. People want to know what i have when they see the nice leather cover. I only wish it zipped to keep debris away from my kindle when it is in my tote bag or purse.I am planning to purchase one of the zippered covers offered and hope the kindle will fit in it along with this cover.

The product is a GREAT fit but the leather quality is poor. I think this is no more than 10 dollars worth of a cover that is made in china. Amazon should not make this a money making item.

Nice feel - but lacks two features March 11, 2010

I love the feel and overall quality of this Kindle cover.
But there are two obvious features missing. First, it would be nice to have a place to put a business card or some identifying information. If I lose the Kindle or leave it on a table at a meeting, it would be very easy for someone to contact me.
Second, the back is only attached to the left side of the Kindle. So if you pick it up the wrong way and start to open it, you pry the back quite a ways before you realize what you're doing. I suspect this is what will eventually break and require a replacement.
Don't get me wrong. Those are minor things. It is a very nice cover and I feel much better having some protection for my Kindle.
