Excellent buy! January 4, 2009 Jamie D. (Maine, USA) I bought these recently because I wanted a set of speakers for my iPod. The reviews were good, and the price was right. For $6 I could afford to gamble. Turns out it was a good choice. Clearly, they aren't as amazing quality as some of the $100 plus ones you could buy. But the sounds is great for such a bargain item, and even if it breaks in six months, you could still buy ten replacements cheaper than buying one of the high end sets. Some cheapo speakers you sounds like the music is inside a tin can, and there's no volume. I turned these all the way up and my cat fled the room, so they get plenty loud. So, if you're a music junkie and you insist on being able to shake the house with your music and feel like you're right at the concert...alright, move on and blow your money on the expensive speakers. If you're a normal person and you just want a compact set of speakers that can be heard over a roomful of people and comes at a great price..BUY THESE!
Does the job! January 3, 2009 BodyBuilder (Virginia) I wanted a speaker for my Ipod to use in my garage while working out. This does the job! It is loud enough for me and I have no complaints. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great speakers for the price! December 26, 2008 T. R. Lynn (Omaha, NE United States) I got these for my kids to use with their iPods since they sometimes want to listen to them without using the earbuds. These speakers are an amazing value for the price! The sound is very clear, and it certainly turns the volume up loud enough! The ipod sits better in the holder upside down, which is kind of goofy, but a small inconvenience for the great price. I was skeptical because they were so inexpensive, but I'm really glad I bought them!
perferct for office December 21, 2008 Glenn S. Hartong (Akron, OH) I use these speakers with my first generation Zune 30GB. Perfect at office. I have power coming from my PC and just drop in my Zune and connect a wire to the headphone jack. I have the speaker volume at about half way up and the Zune volume on 5 while I'm working. At the end of the day I turn the Zune up and share with the office. Keep in mind these aren't high quality stereo speakers, but they get the job done with decent sound. Good value for the price. Recommended.
Great for Price But Delicate December 17, 2008 D. Pineda (Astoria, NY United States) The speakers are quite the value. I got them for a vacation where I planned to roadtrip around a foreign country. They were PERFECT for the car as well as for the time spent in hotels. The sound quality is pretty good, I didn't experience that annoying tin sound or echoes, or fuzziness. The speakers package in a nice compact size. The only "but" is that they're fairly. On the flight home, I threw them in my checked luggage, which was not a smart move considering how the airport workers toss around peoples' bags. Upon my return home, the speakers were ruined. But now i know, just take them on your carry-on luggage so they don't get all banged up.
